Jenny Weber is 17 years old and still lives with her parents in Esch-sur-Sûre. The house has belonged to the family for several generations. Even her grandmother and great-grandmother lived in this house.
Before the Easter holidays, in school during German classes they talked about the life of ordinary people of the last century. All the students have received the mission to talk to their grandparents at home and gather as many details about life back then. Because Jenny’s grandmother has passed away, she climbs in the attic to see if she could find any old things left by her grandmother. And to her delight, there is indeed a very old chest in the corner. What is in it? And what will she find out about her ancestry as she rummages through the items? What other questions will that raise? She is very excited. In joyful anticipation, she opens the trunk. Are you ready to accompany her on her journey of discovery?
