Proper care is of great importance for the healthy growth of fruit trees. Good plantation pruning lays the foundation for a stable tree crown and thus for a long fruit tree life. Therefore, the Öewersauer Nature Park and the environmental commission of the municipality of Esch-Sauer organise a fruit tree pruning course in which anyone interested can participate. After a short theoretical introduction, plantation pruning is demonstrated in practice and participants also lend a hand themselves. Those who want to put what they have learned into practice can continue pruning in the afternoon under supervision.
