Second World War monuments

In the post-war years numerous monuments were erected and memorial plaques unveiled in many localities in the Öewersauer Nature Park. This was done in grateful memory of the liberators and the fallen fellow citizens, or as a memorial to warn future generations. They can be found at central points of the villages, near the churches or at the entrances/exits of the villages.
