What is the situation? How can you provide support?

Representatives of SEBES, LACU, SIDEN and LISTS will give us an update on their work.

SEBES – The staff for preventive drinking water protection has been strengthened. A short presentation of the drinking water protection strategy and analytical methods in the in-house laboratory will be given.

LAKU – “Landwirtschaftliche Kooperatioun Uewersauer”: Since 2015, agricultural water protection measures have been developed and promoted within the framework of a cooperation project between farmers, the drinking water supplier and the Öewersauer Nature Park.

SIDEN – The inter-municipal wastewater association is working at full speed on the expansion and modernisation of the wastewater network in the catchment area of the drinking water reservoir.

LIST – The Luxembourg research institute has been studying the erratic phenomenon of blue-green algae blooms for a long time and can provide a lot of information. Now there is the possibility for everyone to support this work and to contribute to the knowledge gain.
